A while ago I mentioned in a blog here that I’d read a great, little book by Milton Glaser called “In search of the miraculous or one thing leads to another”. At the time it seemed like a new way of thinking and I ran around telling everyone in earshot about this new methodology I’d found.
Turning 25 is a big deal. So to celebrate, we decided it was time for a new-look logo to go with our website rebranding.
The original red, white & blue Kiwi in the triangle logo was actually created through a logo competition, back in the 80’s. It’s been adapted throughout the years and spawned new logos; the corners have been rounded and new colours introduced. Which was another reason we wanted to change — to consolidate and create more cohesive branding.
Atoll’s recent release, ‘Solo’ by Santiago Canon Valencia, is the latest in the catalogue to receive a 5 star review from William Dart in the NZ Herald. (more…)

The World Bowls Championship is held every four years and in 2016, it will be coming to Christchurch. We were given the opportunity by Bowls NZ to create a new, innovative stand alone website to promote the event.
The brief was to create a predominantly news site but in a way that was interesting and unique to create an obvious difference between the normal NZ Bowls websites and this big event.
The challenge for us was how to display a variety of different types of information in an easily adaptable format. To do this we designed a flexible grid for the homepage More >
This month it was exciting to see the launch of the new Buy NZ Made website. We did the design and the HTML and Cyberglue implemented it onto their very powerful MemberConnex system. It’s a user-friendly catalogue for shoppers, a networking tool for businesses and an MRM app for Buy NZ Made.
To top it all off, the responsive layout adapts to different screen sizes so the site is as usable on a smartphone or tablet as it is on a desktop computer. This means no matter where you are, or what device you have, you will always be able to find More >
